I am a creative soul with a perpetual love for all things textiles! Inspiration for my work stems from a colourful childhood; I was born in sub continent where fabric plays a huge role in everyday life. I would join my mother on trips to markets and remember walking through bustling bazaars, stacked high with endless rolls of beautifully printed fabric. These early memories of fabric have stuck with me, I find them manifesting themselves in my artwork all the time.

I trained in Textile Design & Design Management (BSc) from the University of Manchester, graduating with a first class honours in 2013. I have worked with a host of brands including, Christopher Farr Cloth, Heals of London, Fruttare, Topshop and Charmchuri. My sketchbooks are bursting with mark-making experiments, and hand painted artwork which I manipulate using Adobe Creative Suite. I am a fully trained AVA CAD Specialist, with skills in colour separation & repeat creation. Treating each print as a piece of art, I hope to create designs that are equally powerful on there own, as well as part of a collection.
